We have an adopted a green energy policy in all our properties and use electricity for heating with programmable thermostats.
Please keep in mind the following to avoid overloading circuits and tripping the supply.
- Do NOT attempt to move any heaters.
- Do NOT use the oven to heat the kitchen.
- Use the +- buttons on the wall thermostats in the bedrooms or on the remote control for the living room fire to increase or decrease the temperature.
- Avoid higher heat (higher energy) settings except on the living room fire. You are certain to overload the power supply if you have 4 heaters on
highest power settings.
Higher heat settings do NOT mean higher temperatures (see 3).
- We recommend you do NOT change any of the advanced settings on the wall thermostats.
- We probably dont need to remind most guests that if you use all the high energy devices at the same time the power will trip due to overload.
- At the end of your stay please return the switch settings to those when you arrived.
Thank you. Let us know if you need further guidance.
